1. Characteristics of raw materials
(1) Rubber itself is an elastic and deformable material, which affects the dimensional stability of rubber mats. As a result, rubber mats are not highly precise products and there will be dimensional tolerances.
2. Transportation and storage factors
(1) Rubber floor mats may be subjected to external forces such as extrusion during transportation. Due to the elasticity of rubber, these external forces can cause it to deform. For example, when transported in a stacked manner, the lower rubber mats may be squeezed and deformed by the upper ones, leading to changes in size. Even if certain protective measures are taken during transportation, it is difficult to completely avoid this situation.
(2) The storage environment can also affect the size of rubber mats. If the temperature and humidity of the storage environment change significantly, the rubber mat will absorb or release moisture, thus expanding or shrinking. For instance, in a humid environment, the rubber mat may absorb a large amount of moisture and expand, becoming larger in size; while in a dry environment, it will shrink due to the loss of moisture.
